A beautiful and very large two handled vintage Italian earthenware confit pot. These jars were used in Southern Italy to store vegetables or meats and fish preserved in olive oil. This is a lovely and rare example in a beautiful stone glaze with the flat rim dating from the early 20th century in excellent vintage condition. A stunning decorative addition to your home displayed alone, with plants, indoors or out.
