These match pots are handmade; thrown on a traditional kick wheel using a white stoneware clay. The match pots are then carved before being glazed and high fired. The match pot comes with 30 matches and a small paper strike pad that can be attached to the base of the pot. Also available in black stoneware.

Faye Wellon creates functional, stylish stoneware ceramics in her home studio in Herefordshire. Created in small batches, each piece is consciously crafted by hand using a traditional kick wheel. Influenced by slow living and simple design Faye’s work has a modern rustic, Scandinavian vibe.
