A selection of cushions handmade in the UK for Grace Sisters using a mix of charcoal and taupe vintage Kantha quilts from Rajasthan, India. Available in two sizes.

These quilts are made from old saris and bound together using the traditional Kantha stitch creating a striking and individual piece. The quilts have been cut to produce a different visual on each front and the reverse features a lovely complementary linen from British linen manufacturer, Fermoie. A concealed zip along one edge completes the cushion. Each cushion is entirely unique and comes filled with a made to order curled feather cushion pad.
As with many vintage pieces, these quilts have a story and have lived a life, as such, some have imperfections in the material. Rather than seeing this as a defect we see it as an added charm and proof of provenance. Please contact us if you would like further details and pictures.
