Murano emerald Bullicante bowl

A wonderful Venetian glass bowl or ashtray, made on the island of Murano, near Venice. Attributed to the designer Mandruzzato it is a stunning combination of brown glass cased in a band of amber glass, which is further encased in a part angular, part bark textured block of clear glass, using the renowned Venetian Sommerso technique.
